ClickBank - How somebody starting off could start to pick product properly

ClickBank - How somebody starting off could start to pick product properly

This is my spin on ClickBank's Mr. Beau Blackwell's article Six Steps To Finding A Great Product To Promote.

1.Niche - Selecting the right niche requires a lot of thought. In the selection of the right product, you need to consider personal preferences, experiences, expertise, skills, hobbies, passions, etc. Consider it a profile of who you are as well, "you are what your niches are". You must select products that are close to home or what you know about. It makes it easier for you to market products.
2.Target Market - After identifying a segment of the marketplace or niche that you are most familiar with, you now need to know who's buying and what are they buying from that niche. Here you need to employ a bit of consumer psychology but it needs not be that complicated as well, after all, you are part of this niche. Please also keep in mind that every niche is different. Some are broad with a ton of consumers and competitors and some are narrow with very few buyers and few competitors. These must be considered as well, for you to find the best niches you are to compete in for sales.
3.Product - Having made a thorough analysis of the niche and the market for that niche, you now can start choosing a product to promote from the ClickBank products. "Gravity" is the term used by ClickBank to measure how well a product is doing. 100+ gravity equals more sales prospects and more competitors, 30+ and up are quality products worth your time and effort, <30 spells difficulty but some of these may turn out to be money makers.
4.More, more, more.... - It would be best if the niche chosen would have more than one product associated with it. This would mean you could better compete, in a niche with 1 high selling product, competition would be through the roof and you would have a difficult time getting a foothold. From a point of view of multiple products, presenting a choice creates an avenue for them to choose the best product they prefer. If you don't get them with one you still have others they might be interested to choose from.
5.More bucks for your bang - Concentrate your efforts to the high paying products, after all, you got into this for the money right. High percentage commissions even on low dollar valued products are good. Low percentage commissions are reserved for the high dollar value products. It is recommended to go for commission rates of 65% and up. It is recommended that on high commission products, paying on average about $18 per sale, must be taken advantage.
6.Their Pitch - Study the chosen products' sales page very well, not all products sell themselves the same. Careful consideration must be made, a better pitched product may mean more money for you.

The short version choose a market segment or niche you know, a niche where you know the customer and their needs, a niche associated with products that sell well and pay handsomely, and products that sell themselves better than the others.

JOBAPP

TAKE NOTE THAT ALL THESE ANSWERS ARE ONLY EXAMPLES
PLEASE REPLACE WITH ONLY YOUR ANSWERS
Why do you want to apply for a position in this company?
Why did I choose to apply for “Home Based Virtual Assistants - Training Provided”?
Money, the primary moving force in society today is the main reason I have just like everybody else, people need to survive and live a happy or content life.
Ethics, it seemed like the company is backboned not on greed like most businesses but this one, based on the ad , it asks of its candidates to be persons of intergrity, trust, loyalty, fairness, dedication, professionalism etc.
Happiness, I want to be part of a company I can be proud of and them be proud I am a part of it.

Why do you think you are the right person for this job?
I do not think I am the right person for the job but I can be the right person. I am willing to learn and work hard to get things done. It is just a question of getting it done in time, much like a learning curve. I am up for the challenge.
Do you have any prior experience?
Yes, but I have no formal training at all. I just used my personal experience and experiences I had with other jobs to fulfill the needs of the job for the clients.
Do you have a website?
Yes, I have a several blogs that I have experimented with.
What are the other skills that you are good at or can be the best in the world?
The only thing I take pride in is the fact that I am eccentric. Often misunderstood, I would like to think of it as a perception often overlooked. One very famous line says it all for me “Thinking outside the box”. I am not the best in the world at it but I like being different. I would like to think I am special in way because I can see things from the norm, twist them around and see something others might not.
What is your ultimate passion?
Family, it is what drives me forward everyday.
Are you current having any other job(s) online or offline? What are the job(s) you are undertaking? Please be VERY specific on the hours worked/days work per week and even the month.
No jobs at the moment (online or offline).
What is your current daily routine in detail with timings?
I have no set schedules at this time my hours are all open due to the fact I am unemployed at this time. If I had a job or important things to do I schedule them and keep them. I am currently a mouse potato scouring the net for jobs I can do from home so I can spend more time with my daughter.
How would you describe yourself as a person in a working environment? in terms of character and competence.
Team, I know what it is like to be part of a team, often my opinions have been regarded to be unconventional but they have made a lot of sense. Fine-tuned by the leaders that I have worked with, often watered down to please the majority, (especially management) I have always stuck to my principles being as diplomatic and cordial as possible. Although I have not given a leadership role a formal try many fo my colleagues have gone through coaching and have asked for guidance from me. The politics of being a leader when dealing with commanders who don't listen to the frontline are just too much for me to handle. I absolutely do not “kiss ass”.
Can you explain your commitment level if you are hired?
Commitment, 100% nothing less can be expected from trust that is given.
As I am dealing with ONLY serious candidates, I need full TRANSPARENCY, you will be watched every second during your full working hours, is that ok?
Scrutinized, I would expect nothing less, trust is very hard to achieve and it ensures process is always followed and quality becomes standard, mitigating any untoward events for the company..
As I expect you to practice RESPONSIBILITY at all times, I want you to choose your 9-hour working timing. (please choose times where you are least distracted and highly focused)
I will be on time and ready to work any schedule expected of me. Its a TEAM effort right?
Where do you see yourself in 3/5/10 years' time working with this company? (Please highlight if you are looking for a short term job)
As long as the relationship is satisfactory for me and for you it is expected I will be in it for the long haul.
What is your salary expectation?
At an entry level position I would say about $4 - $6 an hour.
What is your current salary or your last drawn salary (per month)?
The appointment setting/lead generation job I previously had I was about $15 a day but the company charged clients about $10 an hour.
Do you have any other source of income?
My mom helps us out and gives us about $100/month. The $15 a day I earned is simply not enough for the growing needs of my family, so she helps out.
What are your expectations for the company?
I, if you havn't read between the lines by now, expect a lot from my employer. Not only when it comes to compensation but moreso in the way they do business and the way they treat the very individuals they have tasked to help them move forward in business.
If you get selected to be a permanent staff, you are requested to NOT work for another employer, are you agreeable?
No, I will honor all commitments with the company and I will not compromise the hand that feeds me but I will still in my free time try to generate as much income as possible for my family's needs.

List the questions you have for us. (the more the better)
I do not have any questions but I do have a proposal, the same proposal I wrote in my cover letter for the application:
1. 1-2 hours per day for 10 days of paid training at $2.50 an hour (odesk fee included) subject to be discontinued anytime performance is unsatisfactory.
2. 2-4 hours per day of probationary work for 1 month at $4 an hour (odesk fee included) subject to be discontinued anytime performance is unsatisfactory.
3. 4-8 hours per day of regular work for 3 months at $6 an hour (odesk fee included) subject to be discontinued anytime performance is unsatisfactory.
5 days a week only at a time you prefer.
We are using paypal to pay all our staffs. Do you have paypal? What is your paypal email address?

cm transcription

male voice: and were rolling
female interviewer: first uhm say your name and spell it out for us and tell us what you do here at UW Oshkosh
Colleen McDermott: Colleen McDermott c o l l e e n m c d e r m o t t, I'm on the faculty at UW Oshkosh in the department of Biology and Micro-Biology where I am a Professor.
female interviewer: So tell me about this uhm beach monitoring program that you and Dr. Kleinheinz are, are, overs..I guess you're overseers.
Colleen McDermott: Correct. uhm Dr. Kleinheinz and I are the ah, overseers of the supervisors of a large research program that involves microbial contamination or water quality at beaches around Wisconsin. uhm We have 5 laboratories that we staff with mostly with students. uhm They're located here in Oshkosh, so we do Winnebago County monitoring we also have a lab in Door County uhm and a lab in Manitowoc County at UW Manitowoc our collaborators and a lab at Northland College on Lake Superior and then 1 last lab uhm in Eagle River in Vilas County at the health department so we are using other peoples labs around the state.
female interviewer: uhm what do you do at..ahoh. what do you and your students do at these labs?
Colleen McDermott: erhm The main thing that we do is we monitor beach water for microbial contamination, are there bacteria in the water that could hurt you if you were gonna swim. uhm That is really the very simple process now we have been doing it since 2003 and we work for all of these counties to do this work. However, that's not the interesting research question the interesting research question is where does that contamination come from and what can we do to fix it, how can we remediate. So our students and all of these labs are doing the routine monitoring and then lots of side projects about how does the contamination get to the beach, can it uhm become greater at the beach if we have certain conditions and then what are things that we could do to fix it so that ss.. people who want to use the waters uhm are able to do that at all times.
female interviewer: Tell me as as a as a uhm field bi...ah be a good microbiology or biology teacher? I mean (inaudible)
Colleen McDermott: (interjects) microbiology yep uh hmm
female interviewer: As a microbiology professor I mean what what do y.. what are your goals fo your students who are involved in this... in this project.
Colleen McDermott: We've been really fortunate in that we've gotten a lot of really good students both undergrad and graduate students who work with us on these projects. My goal for them is to have them have a great research experience so that we can develop new scientists you know were growing our own crop of scientists here. so that they get a real research experience. its not play data, its real data thats going to affect citizens around wisconsin. They're gonna be the ones who are saying a beach is open or closed. So they have... Its real life work that has importance and we try to instill in them how important they are to the project, to these communities uhm they do a lot of liaison work with us so that they're talking to the people at the beaches. So they're doing education as well as learning themselves ah it just an all around win-win. we couldn't do the work without them.
female interviewer: Do you often get that that  moment where you know you're seeing your students uhm  this that the lightbulb is going on in their h... in their minds and saying that that that they've you know what i'm talking about that sh.. that ...
Colleen McDermott: Yeah abs...
female interviewer: ..lightbulb moment
Colleen McDermott: ...aboslutely the students all you know usually start very green and they are a bit ler...little nervous about what they're doing but as they progress through a summer or through a semester whenever they're working with us there's some point where they s... they get it and they can then anticipate what's the next question and when I see them saying wouldn't it be good if we could try this then I know that they have it that they're really involved and that they're doing that critical thinking that you hope they would learn in a class but here they're actually applying it.
male voice: were done were good uhm yeah yeah and and if you could look right at Grace.
Colleen McDermott: ok
male voice: and and I just have a couple of questions i mean ah just on a personal or an or an emotional level i mean how do you feel about th...w... you know the rivers and lakes that ah we have here in Wisconsin.
Colleen McDermott: oh I think its one of our greatest assests and I think we have to do everything to protect the waterways which is why were a part of this research uhm were all of us are concerned about beach health and water health and so I kinda take it personally when people talk poorly about our waters that in fact wisconsin has really great water quality when you compare it to you know uh other parts of the country and certainly other parts of the world then were absolutely fortunate that we dont have huge contamination issues like were seeing in the gulf and other places uhm cause cause I do speak(inaudible) they're my beaches. I can I can help it.
male interviewer: So tell me what does it like when you walk the beaches or when you walk the river trail and you what maybe putting the scientists aside a little bit it and just as you know...
Colleen McDermott: Im not sure we can ever put the scientist aside with all this just i've been doing this too long but I certainly when Im o...at the beach Im looking at just this sort of this broadness this vast expanse 'cause usually I'm on lake Michigan so I'm... I'm looking at hundreds and hundreds of miles of water in front of me that is just... its breathtaking uhm  we...were so fortunate to have that but i'm still also thinking about I wonder which way the current's going and what does you know this algae on the beach have to do with water quality today so (sigh) I can't I love the aesthetics but I have the scientist thats going on in the back of my head at the same time.
male voice: uh thats great i love it
female interviewer: great
Colleen McDermott: good
female interviewer: thank you

Cruciferous Vegetables

Who has ever heard of "Cruciferous Vegetables"? I certainly havn't before writing this article. I might've just been one of the few people who has remained clueless about this family of very special vegetables, until I did some Googling that is. I fired up my PC, typed in my keywords "Cruciferous Vegetables" and, lo and behold, its the cabbage or mustard family of vegetables. Whodathunkit Cruciferous Vegetables, I eat 'em everyday. Here are some of the common cultivars or varieties of these Cruciferous Vegetables or Vegetables of the family Brassicaceae, you might've just had a bite or two of these wonderful veggies yourself: horseradish, land cress, ethiopian mustard, kale, collard greens, Chinese broccoli (kai-lan), cabbage, brussels sprout, kohlrabi, broccoli, broccoflower, broccoli romanesco, cauliflower, wild broccoli, bok choy, komatsuna, mizuna,Rapini (broccoli rabe), flowering cabbage, chinese cabbage, napa cabbage, turnip root; greens, rutabaga, siberian kale, canola/rapeseed, wrapped heart mustard cabbage, mustard seeds, brown; greens, mustard seeds (white), mustard seeds (black), tatsoi, arugula (rocket), garden cress, watercress, radish, daikon, and wasabi, just to name a few - haha. Just what is it though that makes these veggies so amazing, aside from the vitamins, minerals, and fiber, they contain powerful cancer fighting substances called glucosinolates. Sulforaphane, a glucosinolate compound found in Cruciferous Vegetables, is characterized differently by many people to be a sharp, spicy or bitter taste. Sulforaphane is just one of the phytochemicals found in Cruciferous Vegetables. Indole-3-Carbinol is also another compound found in abundance in Cruciferous Vegetables.
